About Us

About Us
With a combined work experience of nearly 50 years as electricians, Bruce and Chris have the "been there, done that" that can get the job done quickly and safely.
Both are fully qualified tradesmen, accredited Master Electricians, and successful, enthusiastic business owners.  Both share a strong belief in building for the future, and heavily support local high schools with work experience.

As well as the combined experience of Bruce and Chris, we have two other fully qualified electricians within the TMOT team, Ben and Steve. Training along side our 4 qualified electricians is our very own future electricians, Dalton their second year apprentice, and Ben (B2) their first year apprentice.

So, with our combined and growing team we can service your smallest electrical jobs, as well as larger projects.

When disaster struck at Innisfail in 2006, Bruce was one of the first volunteers to head north at his own cost, in his own vehicle to work for free to help get order restored. And with the recent "Big Storm" that ravaged the Northern Brisbane suburbs of The Gap, Keperra and Arana Hills both Bruce, Chris and Ben got little rest when the normal work booked was put on hold to help our fellow Brisbanites.

This strong work ethic and concern for community welfare is a big part of the success of both Bruce and Chris’ businesses.  Customers they have worked for don’t look any further when choosing someone to do their electrical work, and some have been using them for nearly 15 years.

Award Winning Staff

For four consecutive year's when he was an apprentice to Tradesmen on Time Ben, Skryzpa won East Coast Apprenticeships Electrical Apprentice of the year award.  In 2010 however, he really excelled and took out the East Coast Apprenticeship overall Apprentice of the year award from a field of over 500  other young apprentices.  We are very proud of him, and now that he is a fully fledged tradesman he is continuing to excell.

Ben Brock, our first year apprentice won a state wide award last year through "worklinks" work experience program whilst he was placed with us.  We have been proud to take Ben (or B2 as he has become affectionately known to differentiate him from tradesman Ben) on as an apprentice and hope to see him continue to excel.

Our second year apprentice Dalton has been nominated for Electrical Apprentice of the Year at East Coast Apprenticeships, in recognition of his commitment to the trade and his great attitude.
So  you can see how we are striving to build our business with young people who share our values and work ethic, and to put something back into the trade that has been so good for us.

Community Involvement

Bruce and Chris are both family men , heavily involved in their local community.  They support local schools and are both involved in several community organisations.  In fact,  if you are community or not-for-profit group, give them a call and ask about their discount rates.  They especially are interested in the encouragement of young men and women in taking up a career in the electrical trade and have a long standing and ongoing involvement with a local high school work experience program.
